2011 NYC Arts & Health Network Training

This past year, Johnson & Johnson and the Society for the Arts in Healthcare embarked on a comprehensive evaluation of the field of arts and health that examines challenges and solutions for reaching unreached populations and assessing Arts in Health Networks as a vehicle for identifying and supporting community-based initiatives to reach these populations with arts programs and services. Six Arts in Health Networks were selected to host a one-day regional training, with support from the Society and J&J.
This training brought a day-long agenda focusing on growth of our network and the field through exploring baseline needs, strategic planning, and asset assessment. Additionally, SAH is providing numerous resources and assistance in areas such as asset-mapping and strategic-planning.
